The Ask Suicide-Screening Questions (ASQ) Toolkit by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) is a valuable resource for service providers to identify individuals at risk for suicide. The ASQ training equips providers with the knowledge and tools needed to conduct suicide risk screenings, ultimately helping to save lives by connecting at-risk individuals with the necessary mental health resources. This comprehensive training is tailored for social service providers new to homeless services It offers an in-depth overview of our Continuum of Care (CoC) services, the frameworks we practice, and community resources. The training includes an extended walking tour of Lancaster shelters, providing true insight into client experiences.
