Ask Questions Suicide Screening Tool (ASQ)

The Ask Suicide-Screening Questions (ASQ) Toolkit by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) is a valuable resource for service providers to identify individuals at risk for suicide. The ASQ training equips providers with the knowledge and tools needed to conduct suicide risk screenings, ultimately helping to save lives by connecting at-risk individuals with the necessary mental health resources. Veterans Military Cultural Competency

This training is available to Partnership Home's CoC Partners: | Hosted in-person in conjunction with a Military Veteran Peer Support Network-certified trainer: This course equips homeless service providers with essential knowledge and skills to effectively support homeless veterans.

• Introduction to Military Culture: Understanding the core values, ethos, and structure of the military.
• Deployment Cycle: Insights into the challenges faced during and after deployment. Transition Issues: Identifying common issues veterans face when transitioning to civilian life.
• Service Linkage: Strategies for connecting veterans to appropriate services and resources.

QPR: Suicide Prevention
