This course equips Outreach and Shelter Workers with the skills to help clients obtain or replace essential documents like Social Security cards, birth certificates, state IDs, and driver’s licenses. Participants will learn how to navigate application processes, overcome common barriers, and document progress accurately using HMIS and the Document Warehouse—all while ensuring compliance with funding requirements. Supporting Survivors of Domestic Violence, IPV, and Human Trafficking
Explore HUD Category 4, focusing on victims of Domestic Violence, Intimate Partner Violence, and Human Trafficking. Learn trauma-informed care and eligibility assessments to effectively support and identify affected clients. This small group training includes presentations and discussions, providing opportunities to ask questions and apply the knowledge gained.
