100-Day Challenge

Our community is embarking on an ambitious goal- to 100 veterans in the next 100 days. We hope you will join us in this effort as we work together to find 100 Veterans living on the streets a permanent place to call home.

There are many ways to help. If you’re a landlord or property owner, consider giving a Veteran a second chance by renting to them. Businesses, community groups and individuals can collect welcome home baskets to help Veterans establish their new home. For those interested in ongoing relationships, volunteer to help Veterans feel at home and reestablish a community of their own.

There are so many ways to impact this effort! Contact Shannon Barnes to learn more and get involved today!

De-escalation Training

De-escalation training was designed to provide practical examples and tangible tools for how to deal with clients in immediate crisis. If you often encounter clients who have experienced trauma and need some practical tools to verbally de-escalate the client, then this training is for you. De-escalation training does not take the place of further clinical interventions or comprehensive case management but you will learn things that you can apply immediately. This de-escalation training will provide you with short-term interventions that will help you manage stressful situations in a more healthy way for your client and your organization.
